...Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand it's patched.
Very entertaining! Do you do birthday parties?
...Right?
The business is slipping into uncomfortable territory.
The mere existance of events such as this along with the recent trend to make games more stupid and casual might very well signal the beginning of the end as far as decent gaming is concerned, and that makes me sad...
Ramen to that.
Well then, I guess we're lucky to have such a shining beacon of equality and tolerance as yourself in our midst.
...Actually, no, there's no need.
You win.
Jebus, that post is a a complete clusterfrack.
"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."
It's not up to the skeptics to disprove every random claim of potentially divine beings. The burden of proof lies on the party that made the claim, in this case the religious.
So, show us some form of reasonable, empirical evidence of the existence of such a being and we will immediately admit that we were wrong, bow our heads in shame and immediately start worshiping our newfound sky-daddy.
It's ok, I liked it too. Sadly no one else did.
All the things I want to say in all the words I'm too lazy to type.
....Except we actually tried it, and it isn't.
We may not agree on if the 360 or the PS3 is the superior system.
We may not agree on wether Killzone or Halo is the better IP.
We may not agree on if motion controllers are "the future" or not.
But we can all agree that Zynga sucks ass.
Gnosticism and and theism should belong to different axes. This is the most usable definition I've come across on the subject:
Gnostic theist: I know there is a god.
Agnostic theist: I don't know whether or not there is a god, but I believe there is a god.
Gnostic atheist: I know there are no gods.
Agnostic atheist: I don't know whether or not there is a god, but I don't believe that there is a god.
Why, hello Mr. Trollbait!
Me.
He has slaughtered my favourite franchise, he knows it and is proud of it. With people like him in central positions in the industry, the kind of gaming we know and love will be dead within the next two console generations. It's dying as we speak.
Damn you casuals, damn you...
Now there's nothing left for the rest of us. Stay classy.
I came here to say this...
Also, should that guy really be doing articles on graphics comparisons when he can't discern concept art from in-engine shots? And wouldn't it be more relevant to use screencaps from the new ViDoc and not pre-thanksgiving Reach material?
That said, the article is pointless fishing for website hits anyway. They both look good, and because of differences in game mechanics and direction, comparisons are largely irrelevant.
"i thought i was lame"
What a coincidence, I thought you were lame too!
